Extra time
If the work is not finished by the booked end time, on this screen you can add and pay Extra Time so the worker can stay longer. That charge is separate from the booking hold. Only Extra Time you have paid extends the official end time used for reminders and auto clock-out.

| Choose minutes | While the worker is Busy or on Pause, pick 30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 minutes. Cost is hourly rate × minutes plus the booking fee on that labour. |
| Pay Extra Time | Tap Pay Extra Time once for any unpaid Extra Time. The coloured card under the workers shows that prompt before final job pay when Extra Time is still unpaid. |
| Official end time | Only paid Extra Time extends the official end (booked end + paid minutes). Choosing minutes without paying does not move the clock. |
| Closing reminder | Around the official end, you and the worker get an app and email reminder. The worker may also get a WhatsApp Clock out prompt. |
| Auto clock-out | If they are still Busy or on Pause 30 minutes after the official end, the app clocks them out at that official end. Extra Time already paid stays as its own charge. Unpaid extension does not inflate the base hours. |
Add and pay Extra Time on this job screen only (not via WhatsApp). Workers are notified by app and email when Extra Time is paid.
Why it matters
If a cleaner is still mopping past the booked end, unpaid Extra Time does not officially keep them on site. Tap Pay Extra Time first so reminders and auto clock-out use the longer end, then settle final job pay.
