Hold when you Book
When you tap Book on the job screen, we place a hold for the estimate you see. That is not yet the final charge. After clock-out you pay for hours worked plus the fees shown. Short jobs under six hours also show a transport call-out fee up front.
How it works
Register a card under Payment cards before you tap Book (R1 hold, then reverse).

On the job screen, optional paid extension (30–180 min), charged separately from the booking hold.

What to do

Save a card
Save a card under Payment cards before you tap Book. Prefer that screen over typing a card only at checkout.

Check the estimate
Review worker rates, booking fee, and call-out on jobs under six hours before you confirm the hold.

Pay after the shift
If Extra Time was used on the job screen, pay that separate charge first when prompted, then hours worked plus fees. Tip optionally for about three days.

Check Your spend or your emailed invoice for the record.
Extra Time
If work is still going past the booked end, add and pay Extra Time on the job screen (30 to 180 minutes). It is a separate card debit. Only paid Extra Time moves the official end. Tips are optional for about three days and go fully to the worker. No cash.
The hold when you tap Book is not the final bill. Extra Time is a separate charge. Paying cash off-app leaves no clear record. If a card is declined, update Payment cards and try again, or email help@jobzapp.com.
