JobBot

If something goes wrong

What usually goes wrong on a hire, and the next move in the app that fixes it.

Problems & help

Most issues have a clear next step in the app. Start on the job screen and open messages with the worker (Chat). The status trail (Job activity) shows what changed and when.

If money or safety is stuck, update your card or report trouble on the job (Job Safety / Report Incident), then email help@jobzapp.com if you still need us.

If something goes wrong app screen

How it works

Spot the issue

Name what went wrong on the job screen.

Check the job and Chat

Read status and messages in Chat on the job screen before you act.

Use in-app actions

Cancel, pay for overtime past booked end (Extra Time) on the job screen, settle final pay, or open safety tools (Job Safety) on the job.

Contact support

Email help@jobzapp.com with the job details if money or safety is stuck.

What to do

  1. Few applicants

Invite more people, widen the window, or check address and job type.

  2. Unbooked near start

A job still waiting for a confirmed worker (Pending) auto-cancels three hours before start, usually with no charge. Use Post a job again with more lead time.

  3. Late worker

Message in Chat on the job screen. Pay starts from when they start time on site (clock-in).

  4. No-show / missed on-the-way

If you selected backup (Standby), they may activate. Otherwise the hold can release.

  5. Cancel or payment problems

Check the fee prompt before you confirm. Update Payment cards, or contact support.

  6. Safety worry

Tap Job Safety / Report Incident on the job. Use Chat or the phone button (Call) in the allowed window.

Why it matters

Acting on the job screen first is usually faster than waiting for email. JobBot can answer how-the-app-works questions. For the full deadlines (confirm the shift, mark on the way, cancel fees), open the Booking rulebook.
