JobZapp is built for short, cash-free bookings at home or at a business in Cape Town. You describe the work with Post a job, nearby workers apply, and you pick your main booked workers (Primary). Optional backup (Standby) is there if you want cover.
When you tap Book on the job screen, we hold an estimate on your card. You only pay the final amount after the shift. If work runs past the booked end, paid time past that end (Extra Time) is a separate charge. Tips are optional and go fully to the worker.
How it works
Describe what you need with Post a job.
Nearby workers apply so you can choose who fits.
On the job screen, choose your Primaries. Add Standby only if you want backup.
Tap Book on the job screen to confirm the shift; we hold the estimate on your card.
They tell you they are on their way (En Route), start the shift in the app, do the work, then end it.
Pay any unpaid Extra Time on the job screen first if used, then hours worked, tip if you like, and rate.
What to do

Post with lead time
Use Post a job at least six hours ahead by day, or twelve hours ahead if you post at night.

Choose and Book
Choose Primaries (and Standby if you want backup), then tap Book so the estimate is held on your card.

Follow the day
Workers tap En Route, start and end the shift in the app, and complete the work. On the job screen, add Extra Time if they need to stay longer.

Pay and rate
Pay unpaid Extra Time first if prompted, then hours worked, tip if you like, and leave a fair rating.
