When you need a human, ask from JobBot or WhatsApp Help → Chat to a person. The team replies in that same WhatsApp or JobBot thread. JobBot pauses while someone is helping. This is separate from job Chat with your client, from Need help on a vetting alert (soft escalate only), and from booking your Worker Briefing.
How to ask
Message +27 66 045 4791 → Help → Chat to a person. Use the mobile number linked to your JobZapp account.
Open JobBot → Help / Can’t help → Chat to a person (or Yes when offered). Support is notified for that chat thread.
Write to help@jobzapp.com if you prefer email or cannot open WhatsApp.
Book your group briefing when vetting asks: Worker Briefing (not the same as Care chat).
What happens next
| Situation | What you see |
|---|---|
| You asked for a person | Bot answers pause for that conversation; a team member replies in the same thread |
| Need help on a vetting alert | Soft escalate to Customer Care — does not change your vetting stage |
| WhatsApp went quiet 24 hours+ | You may receive a short support template so the chat window can reopen — reply there to continue |
| Serious incident on site | Use Job Safety on the job first, then Customer Care if needed |
What to do
-
Ask for a person
WhatsApp Help → Chat to a person, or JobBot → Chat to a person / Yes. Include the job or mobile if it helps.
-
Stay in that thread
Do not start a second chat on a different number. If the window closed, reply to the support reopen message.
Free text on WhatsApp is no longer a direct line to a human by default — JobBot answers first so you get help around the clock. Chat to a person is the clear handoff when you need Customer Care. Day-of detail with your client still belongs on the job screen.
